Six of us met up at the Waters Edge car park in South Shields to wet our Kayaks. Many for the 1st time this year. The weather had calmed down for us just enough to make a go of it and we spent around five hours paddling along the rock edges down to Marsden Bay and back. Only one Codling was caught and that was by Wayne who still had some frozen crab to use up. I’m absolutely physically shattered but loved it and can’t wait to get out again!
